Website Accessibility Testing
The University CIO sponsors AppScan Enterprise, a web-based application vulnerability and accessibility testing platform. This tool is deployed on a self-service basis at no charge for all Harvard web developers. The UIS Network Operation Center (NOC) hosts the AppScan accessibility testing tool. Web developers and individuals monitoring website compliance may use the tool by first obtaining an account from the NOC. Users can register by going to the NOC Portal, requesting a new account, and specifying their request for membership in the Accessibility group. To find out more about AppScan Enterprise for Accessibility, review https://www.noc.harvard.edu/index.php?show=open/documentation/AppScan+Enterprise+(ASE)+application.php.
