In circumstances where the Product or Service will be available for use by Harvard faculty, staff, students and/or public, vendors should respond to the following.

  • What accessibility standards does the Product/Service meet? (Examples include Section 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines developed by the World Wide Web Consortium W3C). How does the Product/Service ensure compatibility with assistive technology (such as screen readers) used by individuals with disabilities?
  • If the Product/Service does not meet one of the above-referenced standards, describe the way in which the Product supports accessibility for those with disabilities.
